Da Bears!

Despite a loss to the Green Bay Packers, it was amazing living in Chicago for the playoff game! In honor of Da Bears, I went to Cut The Cheese, a pep rally brought to you by RedEye, a daily Chicago newspaper. Cut The Cheese was a rally to show "disdain and utter hatred for the Green Bay Packers". With contests, freebies, and a no-cheese pledge, it was a freezing good time to show our support for Da Bears!

With Ernest "No Cheese" Wilkins, our pep rally host.

Reciting the no-cheese pledge.

With some loyal Bears fans!

It's time for Da Bears game, and with our hot dogs (it is Chicago, of course) ready, we got comfy and hoped for a win!

Throughout Downtown Chicago, lights are often changed on the top of buildings based on holidays or special events. For example, pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, red and green for Christmas, and blue for MLK weekend. This past weekend, Chicago showed its support by lighting up the city in Da Bears colors. (Also a favorite of mine, being a Gator Alum.) See the Sears Tower, John Hancock Center, and the Wrigley Building decked out in orange and blue!
